Singapore STEM Tour Program

Day 1: Arrival Singapore
Upon arrival in Singapore, our English speaking guide will be there to welcome and assist the group with coach transfer and check-in at the hotel. Welcome dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 : VR Workshop / Marina Barrage / Gardens by the Bay
This morning we experience  a VR workshop. Explore, Create, and Learn with Virtual Reality Experiences. Unlock a world of endless possibilities with our immersive VR experiences, designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and learning. Whether it’s exploring the wonders of outer space, diving into the depths of the ocean, discovering the age of dinosaurs, or engaging in activities like art, design, music, and meditation.

Following this is a visit to the Marina Barrage. Built across the mouth of the marina channel, the Marina Barrage creates Singapore’s 15th reservoir and the first in the heart of the city. With a catchment area of 10,000hectares, the Marina catchment is the island’s largest and most urbanised catchment. Students will explore Singapore’s innovative approach to water management and sustainability through a guided tour of its iconic green roof and solar panel installations. They’ll engage with interactive exhibits at the Sustainable Singapore Gallery, learning how climate action, water conservation, and urban planning intersect in this eco-engineered space. The experience offers a hands-on look at how a city can thrive while prioritizing environmental resilience and clean energy solutions.

Our final visit is to Gardens by the Bay Climate Conservatories which provides student’s with an opportunity to experience the development of modern Singapore. Housing more than 250,000 Rare Plants and 18 Supertrees, the park is built to raise the quality of life of Singaporeans by enhancing greenery and flora in the city. Set on 54 hectares the complex consists of two climate conservatories. Appreciate the unique technologies for long term conservation and sustainability. Students will explore two stunning biomes – the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest – each showcasing unique global ecosystems. They’ll witness sustainable architecture in action while learning about climate adaptation, biodiversity, and conservation. From towering indoor waterfalls to rare plant species, this immersive experience brings environmental science vividly to life.

Students will then enjoy the Garden Rhapsody ‘Supertree Light and Sound Show. Students will experience a dazzling fusion of nature, technology, and music beneath the towering Supertrees of Gardens by the Bay. We then proceed back to the hotel.

Day 3: Kok Fah Technology Farm / Singapore Science Centre / Bugis Street Market
This morning we proceed to Kok Fah Technology Farm, Singapore’s largest showcase Greenhouse of over 3000sqm. Students will learn about the need to have agriculture industry in Singapore and discover how technology helps to increase efficiency in farming processes such as hydroponics harvesting.

We then proceed to the Singapore Science Centre. The Science Centre offers a wide range of science enrichment programmes. Be it a workshop in one of the specialised teaching labs or an engaging problem-based exploration of an exhibition gallery, the programs aim to support students with hands-on and inspiring learning experiences. Their many interactive exhibits, housed in 14 galleries, cover a wide range of topics related to science, technology and mathematics. The students will also participate in a STEM workshop which integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in ways that reflect real-world applications.

We then proceed to Bugis Street Market which is one of the biggest, cheapest and hottest places to come shopping in the whole of Singapore. Popular with both locals and tourists, Bugis Street Market is well-known for being one of the cheapest places in Singapore for sourcing your souvenirs, accessories, clothes and electronics.

Day 4: Coding Workshop / One North Singapore / Singapore Flyer
This morning we proceed to our Robotics and Coding Workshop. This workshop is designed to introduce students to the fascinating world of 3D printing and design and to teach them how to create there own 3D models using Tinkered software. Students will get to bring home one 3D printed model that they designed.

After we will be visiting One-North, the Silicon Valley of Singapore . From a backwater in the past, to a bustling metropolis today, Singapore has indeed transformed. Despite the success we enjoy now, we continue to strive for the next bound of what is to come, and becoming a SMART Nation is the next phase of transformation for Singapore. One-North was designed with this in mind. Having a precinct that is dedicated to innovation is important for local start-ups to experiment, research and grow. Learn more about this “Silicon Valley of Singapore” and explore this innovative district as we discover a new ecosystem, introduce various local start-ups, and tell the stories of how they brought their ideas to life.

We then proceed to the Singapore Flyer. Asia’s largest observation wheelThe Singapore Flyer is the brainchild of world renowned architect Dr Kisho Kurokawa (Japan).
