Singapore Geography & Biology Tour Program
Day 1: Arrival Singapore
Upon arrival in Singapore, our English speaking guide will be there to welcome and assist the group with coach transfer and check-in at the hotel. Welcome dinner at the hotel.
Day 2 Mandai Wildlife Reserve / Mandai Gallery Singapore Zoo / Rainforest Asia
Today we proceed to Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Our first visit is to the Mandai Gallery which is a permanent exhibition that celebrates the rich history and transformation of Mandai Wildlife Reserve—from its humble beginnings as a zoo to its evolution into a world-class wildlife and nature destination. The exhibition showcases our contributions to nation-building, commitment to sustainability, and efforts in wildlife conservation both locally and regionally.
We then proceed to the Singapore Zoo. It is a world-renowned zoological garden located in the central part of Singapore, and it is home to over 2,800 animals from more than 300 species. The zoo is known for its open and spacious animal exhibits that mimic the animals’ natural habitats, making it an excellent place to observe animals in their natural settings. Additionally, the zoo has received numerous awards for its conservation efforts.
Our final visit is to Rainforest Wild Asia which is set to offer a very different set of experiences where students will be invited to embark on journeys of discovery tailored to their appetite for adventure. This globally unique experience offers a variety of paths to explore, allowing adventurers to seek out wildlife and marvel at the wonders of a rainforest, both above and below the ground. We then proceed back to the hotel.
Day 3 Sungei Buloh Wetlands Reserve / Bollywood Veggies / Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum / Gardens by the Bay
This morning, explore the wetlands and mangroves of Singapore’s first ASEAN Heritage Park Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, which is rich in biodiversity and serves as an important site for migratory birds. This guided walk focuses on mangrove ecology and adaptation. Students can look forward to seeing interesting crabs, beautiful shore birds, majestic mangrove trees, and if they’re lucky, crocodiles and otters too!
Our next visit is to Bollywood Farms. Capture a piece of country life in bustling Singapore at this organic farm. Immerse yourself in the beauty and tranquillity farm while learning about sustainable farming practices, local flora & fauna as your lead through lush fields, vibrant gardens and serene landscapes.
After, we proceed to the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum is a one-stop exhibition, education and research facility servicing a multitude of biodiversity activities in Singapore and South East Asia. This gallery tour aims to introduce students to the vast array of specimens showcased in the biodiversity and heritage galleries.
On our final visit, we proceed to the Gardens by the Bay, which provides students with an opportunity to experience the development of modern Singapore. Housing more than 250,000 Rare Plants and 18 Supertrees, the park is built to raise the quality of life of Singaporeans by enhancing greenery and flora in the city. Set on 54 hectares the complex consists of two climate conservatories. Appreciate the unique technologies for long-term conservation and sustainability. Students will enjoy the Supertree Grove, and two Conservatories along with witnessing the evening Garden Rhapsody light and sound show. We then proceed back to the hotel.
Day 4 Singapore Botanical Gardens / Cable Car Sentosa Island / Singapore Oceanarium / Skyline Luge & Skyride / Wings of Time
This morning we make our way to the UNESCO listed Singapore Botanic Gardens. This tropical rainforest is one of the few pockets of original jungle left on the island. There are approx 300 plant species and an abundant array of bird life, including Oriental Pied Hornbills, Spotted Wood Owls, Crimson Sunbirds and Stork-Billed Kingfishers. Singapore is of course famous for it’s orchids and the National Orchid Garden provides a wonderful opportunity to view the best of the best. Orchids have been a part of the Gardens collection since its beginnings in 1859.
We then proceed to the Mount Faber Cable Car which offers a breathtaking aerial journey from lush hilltop greenery to the vibrant shores of Sentosa Island. Students will glide over Keppel Harbour in sleek gondolas, taking in panoramic views of the city, coastline, and iconic landmarks like the Merlion and Marina Bay. It’s not just a scenic ride—it’s a thrilling introduction to Singapore’s seamless blend of nature.
At Sentosa Island will visit the Singapore Oceanarium, one of the world’s largest marine life parks – where we can observe more than 100,000 creatures in this magical world. Over 800 species, swimming in 45 million litres of water – the aquarium comprises 10 zones with 49 habitats.
We then experience your first Skyline Luge & Skyride, where you can race down or catch a scenic view. Enjoy the Skyline over Sentosa Island where you will take in the beautiful views and then travel back down via the Luge. These unique 3 wheels carts will provide the best gravity fueled thrill ride! Ride down the purpose-built tracks with hairpin corner, exhilarating tunnels and downhill slopes through a magical forest. 2 rides are included
Our final visit is to the Wings of Time. Go back in time with the spellbinding laser light show at Sentosa Island in Singapore with firework and water show that set against the backdrop of the ocean. Prior to the light show will enjoy a farewell dinner. We proceed back to the hotel.
Day 5: Jewel Changi / Departure
We check-out of the hotel and transfer to Changi International Airport. The group will head on a tour of Jewel Changi Airport first. Your guide will introduce you to the fascinating sights of the airport, including the Crystal Clouds, HSBC Rain Vortex and Shiseido Forest Valley.
